I just received this set as a gift and I cannot tell you how much I LOVE all the pieces! I previously had a stainless w/ copper bottom set from a major department store. Food would constantly get stuck/cooked on and they were so hard to keep looking nice and clean. The non stick on this set is incredible and I love that i never have to cook on high heat. So far, I have been able to do all my cooking on medium heat or lower and it does a fabulous job. We use gas on our cooktop and I always had to do high heat w/ my old set. I also love this set because all the pieces are super light weight and the sizes are perfect. The silicon grip handles are super – they never get too hot and i love the glass lids so I can see what’s going on inside without having to take the lid off. This is a fabulous set, I highly recommend it!

KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Hard-Anodized 14-Piece Cookware Set
I just got the KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials Hard Anodized Cookware Set from amazon about a week ago and it’s great. I was able to get rid of all of my old mismatched pots and pans that I have had since college and now I only use the new pieces. I have a really tiny kitchen and these are easy to store, don’t take up too much space and are all the sizes that I need to cook everything. I also really like that I can cook on medium or low heat and use much less butter or oil because of the non stick surface. I recommend this to anyone looking to streamline and update their kitchen at the same time.

|FINALLY, I have found a cookware set that I enjoy using!,
After doing a lot of research on what type of cookware to buy I settled on this set for a few reasons.
1. I really like the look.
2. I first saw one piece at Kohl’s and liked the feel and weight of it. (They did not have a set so I had to go online.)
3. Anodized seemed to be the best for my gas stove.
4. The price for this anodized set compared to others was excellent
5. I wanted to be able to add to this set, not have to purchase another one for a long time
After using this set now for about 2 1/2 – 3 mos. I have to say it is the best purchase I have ever made in cookware! Heats evenly and quickly. I do have a gas stove and I find I need to keep the flame anywhere from medium-low which saves me $$ on my gas bill! With my old pots I always had to have the gas on high to boil water. These pots, especially the medium and small ones definitely do NOT need it on high heat! I also simmer my soups and chili in the large pot with no hot spots. My simmer is probably more like a low boil and in my old pots this would have meant burned veggies on the bottom but not so anymore.
The nonstick surface is also very nice and with it being baked right in I can use metallic spoons without scratching the bottom or sides.
Love the look and feel of this set. The only drawbacks I have found are:
1. You cannot put these in the dishwasher. (I don’t care, I like to wash them by hand anyway)
2. The handles do have the “grip” on the end part only – the rest of the metal on the handle DOES get hot!
I also love the glass covers. They fit perfectly and allow for me to see if something has started to boil.
For clean up, a mild dishwashing soap works great and for darker stains on the outside or bottom I have used the Scotch Brite yellow/green pads with no scratching and 100% cleanup.
I did NOT buy this product for the name, although I do have a few Kitchen-Aid products and have never had a problem with any of them. The price for this set (as opposed to others or even the 12 pc. set) was way better than I could even get on any of the other sets in store or online. The closest price I found in stores for an anodized set with this many pieces was $300. I purchased this set for $179.99. Way better deal! I will be looking for some of these products in single form so I can add to my set. A second large pot and skillet will eliminate my need to keep any of my older pots/pans. Now if they just had a turkey roaster and lasagna pan I would be all set!
